Rev Bill Stillwell

I, Bill was baptised Martin (don’t ask). After caring for churches in Chesterfield and then in Hythe in Kent, for 24 years I was a Tax Collector with the Inland Revenue and then an advisor with Jobcentreplus. Most of that time was as a ‘Minister in Other Appointment’.

I retired from the Civil Service in 2011. I’ve been taking on more pastoral responsibility in the Circuit since then.

I’m married to Jan with two daughters in their 30’s, a grandson, a granddaughter, and a stroppy terrier called Murphy.

I’m inclined to torture neighbours and congregations indiscriminately by playing guitar and singing, and like to remember my youth by reading medieval history and medieval mystics.
