Bedhampton Methodist Church

Minister - Rev Elize Goddess

Bedhampton Methodist Church (BMC) sits between Hulbert Road and Park Lane, Bedhampton, on the west side of the Borough of Havant, about 5 miles from Portsmouth ,  10 from Chichester and 4 from Hayling Island. It has been in existence since 1958 when it was built to replace the older Methodist church next to Bedhampton Railway Station.

A small but loyal and friendly congregation meet every Sunday morning at 10.30 for worship. Services vary in style and approach depending on the preacher for that day. Several members including a worship leader, regularly plan and lead Local Arrangement services.

Inside the church, the HT 300 system of recorded music is used. The seating is a mixture of traditional pews and chairs and there is good access for wheelchairs. Attached to the church are two large halls, one with a stage and curtains, a smaller meeting room, a kitchen and toilets. Outside there are two car parks.

We have no specific Junior church at the moment, but families with children are welcome, we have activity packs available for younger children.

Regular Activities
Girls’ Brigade – Mondays from 6pm for girls from 5 to 16 years
Boy’s Brigade- Thursdays

Sunday service: 10.30am
