Havant-Methodist-Church

Havant Methodist Church

Our Minister is: Rev Elize Goddess

There has been a Methodist Church in Havant since 1888. Our current building opened in 1958 and has been serving the local community in a variety of ways ever since.

We are conveniently situated on Petersfield Road close to Havant Health Centre, the Civic Offices and the Leisure Centre. We have a car park and are less than 15 mins walk from Havant Railway station. Buses stop nearby.

We extend a warm welcome to all, offering helping hands & listening ears along with worship and fellowship. We seek to help everyone to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, who showed us by his example how to live our lives respectfully and who calls us to follow him in loving, helping and caring for our neighbours.

Worship
Our Sunday morning worship at 10.45am varies in style depending on the preacher of the day. Our regular fellowship is friendly and welcoming to all. The service is followed by an opportunity to meet and chat over coffee. Once a month we also share lunch together.

Weekdays
Our Pastoral Centre is open Mon – Fri from 9.30am – 12md offering refreshments, a quiet place to rest, a friendly place to chat, jigsaws and puzzles to complete and a bric-a-brac stall to browse. It is staffed by volunteers who are always happy to offer a listening ear.

Room Hire
We have a variety of rooms available for hire, either as a one-off or on a regular basis. These range from a small meeting room accommodating up to 10 people up to our main hall which is large enough to accommodate a bouncy castle, so ideal for children’s parties. Enquiries via our church email: commshmc@gmail.com or by phone to Jan Stillwell 023 9248 0150.
