Portchester Methodist Church

Our Village
Portchester is a village between Fareham and Portsmouth. It has its own castle, which is open to visitors and which was once part of the defences for Portsmouth Harbour. The village sits on the north of Portsmouth harbour and some parts of the village offer fine views over the whole of the harbour. Above the village to the north is Portsdown Hill with its Victorian forts that were built to defend Portsmouth Naval Base from an attack by the French, but never saw action. One of these forts, Fort Nelson, is now a museum and is open to the public.

You will find a warm welcome in our church for all ages.

Our church is situated in Castle Street very close to the village’s shopping centre. Postcode: PO16 9PS. We have our own car park with other free car parking close by.
