We are pleased to announce that the Rev David Muskett has been appointed as Acting Superintendent for the Circuit with immediate effect and will be inducted Superintendent at the Circuit Service on 1st March. This is necessary as the Rev Andrew de Ville has been appointed as Acting District Chair for the Southampton District from 1st January, a role in which he will be inducted to at the District Service on 29th February at Chandlers Ford Methodist Church.
In order to allow David to fully take on his new role the Rev Dr John Illsley will have pastoral oversight of Haslemere Methodist Church for the remainder of this connexional year.
Andrew will continue to have pastoral oversight of his churches until the 29th February at which point further arrangements will be made for the oversight of the churches.
Please continue to hold all the lay and ordained leaders of our Circuit in your prayers as we travel through the next few months and we are grateful for the ongoing support during this interim period.
Rev Andrew de Ville and Rev David Muskett.
Farewell to Rev Andrew D'Ville and welcome to Rev David Muskett to the Superintendency of our Circuit.
